It is reported that two police officers conducting stop-and-search operations in the vicinity of Oshodi, Lagos State, were struck by two unidentified car drivers.
PUNK According to information obtained by Metro, the event occurred on Friday night at around 7:30 p.m., while the officers were on patrol at the 7/8 Bus Stop in Oshodi, Lagos.
A source revealed that the drivers of a Lexus 350 and a Toyota Camry, whose license plates were not yet recognized, carried out the attack on the police officers.

They swiftly accelerated their pace upon noticing the police, resulting in the death of two officers, Inspector Edukpe Oronya and Inspector Alabi Kayode, according to the source.
According to the source, Inspector Kayode suffered serious injuries to his left hand and head.
Additionally, it was mentioned that Oronya, the second officer, was “rolled over by the two vehicles.”
The two unidentified drivers allegedly tried to “snatch the rifles with the officers after they had knocked them down,” according to information our correspondent received.
But their colleagues’ quick action was reported to have prevented the reckless drivers from stealing the guns.
