After opponents attacked media personality Toke Makinwa for being a part of the presenter in the ongoing TV show, The Gulder Ultimate Search, popular Nigerian TV anchor Frank Edoho has reacted.
There were a lot of critical remarks on social media after the female media celebrity was announced as a host with Oyekunle Oluremi, a former winner of the GUS.
Following the backlash, Toke responded to one critic who said that viewers had lost interest in the show because she was named host after claiming that every OAP has their own area of expertise.

Toke responded to the outburst by saying that it’s a shame that women who should be supporting one another are instead busy attempting to knock them down for the sake of having a female gender in a male-dominated sector. It should also be eliminated to encourage young girls to dream bigger than being shadowed by the male-dominated society’s negativity.
During the war, Frank Edoho, the popular ‘Who wants to be a billionaire’ host, replied to the critic’s accusation that Toke was to blame for the show’s failure. He claims that most TV hosts are not limited to a single field of expertise since the analysis is incorrect.
Taking his experience as a case study, he revealed that he had hosted the Miss Africa University Beauty Pageant twice in a row, noting versatility is a key role in being a host.
