Around five o’clock on Sunday evening, an automobile accident in Lagos State’s outlying Apapa area injured an unidentified individual.
Two trucks were engaged in the collision, which severely damaged both of the vehicles.
One of the vehicles’ windscreens was entirely smashed in the incident, as seen in a video posted on the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority’s official X handle.

Adebayo Taofiq, the agency’s public relations officer, confirmed the accident in an interview with PUNCH Online. She also said that the truck with the license plate T382-LA collided with another truck due to overspeeding.
“It happened at outward Apapa, which involved a truck,” Taofiq stated. Due to excessive speed, the car lost control and collided with another truck. The truck’s registration number is T382-LA. It collided with the moving truck in front of it. Therefore, as soon as they saw the collision, LASTMA staff acted swiftly to save the driver.
He further mentioned that the driver was taken right away to Apapa General Hospital for treatment after suffering a leg injury.
The motorist was taken to Apapa General Hospital after suffering a severe damage to his left leg. Police officers from Area B Police Command in Apapa assisted with his transport. The LASTMA staff promptly dispatched a tow truck to remove the truck from the road. And Taofiq said.
