The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has stated that it uncovered two dead bodies under an empty diesel truck at the Barracks Bus Stop along the Lagos–Badagry Expressway.
The LASTMA Public Relations Officer, Adebayo Taofiq, revealed this in a statement that was made accessible to PUNCH Online on Saturday.
Taofiq went on to say that the collision happened in the same spot where Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, had just issued an arrest warrant for a soldier for breaking traffic laws.

According to Taofiq, the other two passengers perished at the site, while the motorcycle rider passed away at a hospital close to Satellite Town.
According to preliminary investigation, the truck driver’s flat tire caused him to lose control of his car, resulting in a collision with a motorcycle that was traveling the Lagos-Badagry Expressway in a single direction.
The truck driver fled the scene of the crash, but Onireke Police Division officers recovered the two dead bodies.
Truck drivers were advised not to speed, and motorcycle riders were asked not to go on any state-wide restricted route in a single direction by acting General Manager Bakare Oki of LASTMA.

“Policemen from Onireke Police Division took away the recovered two (2) dead bodies, while the truck driver fled after the accident,” the statement continued.
On Monday, a truck driver was killed on Lagos’ Ojuelegba Bridge after being entangled in an accident with two other trucks.
However, according to Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, his assistant escaped unharmed.
