I’ve taken away my blessings – Mefor, Nnamdi Kanu’s former deputy, curses IPOB.
On Wednesday, Uche Mefor, a former deputy of Nnamdi Kanu, the group’s leader, stated this.

Mefor said he has withdrawn his blessing from the group in a statement on his Facebook account on Wednesday.
Last year, Kanu and Mefor, the new Customary Government of Biafra’s head of information and communication, argued with the IPOB leader over his style of running the organisation.

In order to make the Biafra agenda a reality, Mefor has teamed up with Asari Dokubo, a former Niger Delta militant leader.

Remember that Dokubo created a new Biafra government and appointed himself as its leader.

In a statement made through Mefor on the declaration of a “Biafra de facto customary government,” Dokubo claimed that the moment has come for them to take control of their own destiny, noting that their people had long suffered injustice and marginalization in Nigeria.

Dokubo labeled Kanu as a criminal in a video posted on social media a few weeks later.

Dokubo alleged Nnamdi Kanu has been diverting cash meant for the Biafran cause, accusing him of treating the “Biafran fight” as a business endeavor.

Meanwhile, Kanu’s former right-hand man, who cursed IPOB on Wednesday, wrote: “As a pillar and founding member who helped make it the phenomenon it was, my blessings have already been withdrawn and ipob as an organization and movement has already been cursed that you may know that treachery and desecration of the land do not pay and that there is a supreme being in charge of the affairs of men and control of the land, my blessings have already been withdrawn Forget about the shenanigans; you will understand the significance of this remark in due time.”
