The 31-year-old is in the final year of his current contract, therefore PSG is free to sign him to a pre-contract starting on January 1.

Kante has struggled with persistent ailments so far this season.

Recall that In an effort to deter any possible bidders for their great players, Chelsea’s new owners are offering the club’s present key players fresh contract extensions. Recent long-term contracts were signed by Reece James and Armando Broja at Chelsea by the new owners.

N’golo Kante, a midfielder for Chelsea who is in the final year of his contract, reportedly received a verbal offer from the club last month regarding a new contract extension. If the 31-year-old doesn’t agree with Chelsea’s demands for the new contract, he will be free to chat and bargain with other teams in January.

Kante was offered a two-year contract by Chelsea with an option to extend it by one more year, but the French midfielder declined the offer because the previous management was prepared to give him a three-year agreement with an extension clause at the end of the third season.
