Napoli is considering options within the Super Eagles squad as they search for a replacement for Victor Osimhen.
With Osimhen likely departing the Italian champions this summer, Napoli is eyeing his compatriot, Victor Boniface, as his potential successor.
Boniface, who currently plies his trade for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany, has been in impressive form, notching 10 goals and providing eight assists in just 15 starts. His stellar performances have earned him the Rookie of the Month award four times in succession.

However, Boniface has been sidelined with an adductor injury for most of the Rückrunde, limiting his playing time as Leverkusen vies for silverware across various competitions.
Italian transfer expert Niccolò Ceccarini has revealed Napoli’s interest in Boniface, along with other strikers, such as Benjamin Sesko. Ceccarini stated, as reported by Calcio Mercato, “In addition to him, there is also Benjamin Sesko. Also in this case the evaluation is the same as Gimenez, Leverkusen’s Boniface.”
