Juventus are making strides in their pursuit of Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood, with the player indicating his keenness to join the Serie A giants during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Greenwood, who is set to return to Manchester United following a successful loan stint at Getafe, has attracted interest from various clubs, including Juventus. The 22-year-old impressed during his time in La Liga, scoring eight goals and providing six assists, which earned him the club’s player-of-the-year accolade.
However, Greenwood has been absent from Manchester United’s lineup since his arrest in January 2022 on charges of attempted rape, controlling behavior, and assault, which were subsequently dropped.

Several top European clubs, including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, and Napoli, have been monitoring Greenwood’s situation, along with interest from two Premier League teams.
Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has expressed admiration for Greenwood, and reports from Italy suggest that the club is intensifying efforts to secure his transfer. Manchester United is reportedly open to negotiating a deal if Juventus meets their valuation of €35-40 million (£30-34m) this summer.
It’s reported that Greenwood has already agreed to the move, and Juventus is looking to negotiate a lower fee and explore favorable terms. Additionally, Juventus might consider including Samuel Iling-Junior or Federico Chiesa as part of the deal to acquire Greenwood.
