Galatasaray are setting their sights on Argentina’s 2022 World Cup winner, Paulo Dybala, following a serious injury to Mauro Icardi.

The Turkish Super Lig champions are reportedly looking to strengthen their attack ahead of the January transfer window after Icardiโ€™s season-ending injury left a significant gap alongside the in-form Victor Osimhen.

Dybala’s agent was seen in Istanbul on Monday, attending Galatasarayโ€™s thrilling 4-3 victory over Trabzonspor, which extended their unbeaten league run.

Galatasaray are said to be prepared to meet Roma’s asking price and offer the 31-year-old an annual salary of โ‚ฌ8 million.

The club views Dybala as the perfect partner for Osimhen, who has been sensational since his loan move from Napoli. The Nigerian forward has scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists in just 14 matches across all competitions.

Osimhen made his return from injury in the win against Trabzonspor, coming on as a substitute in the closing minutes.

Galatasaray hope that pairing him with Dybala will strengthen their attack as they aim to defend their domestic title and make a deeper run in Europe.
