Famous actress and director Kemi Afolabi responded to the terrible disaster that occurred in Lagos where a train crashed with a BRT, resulting in numerous fatalities and injuries, on her official social media account.
She stated that today (09/03/23) is a terrible day in Lagos State, Nigeria, and added that one is alive now and one is dead tomorrow. One’s life is not one’s own, she added, adding that people should remain calm and be cautious.
She hoped that premature death would not be our lot or the lot of our loved ones. She also prayed for peace to be granted to the deceased’s soul. She concluded by asking God to protect those who were hurt and were still battling for their lives.
