Rising Yoruba Nollywood actress, Bukola Kiitan, has slammed Ka3na, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, for luring actresses into movie production and brand promotion.

Ka3na said in a post on the microblogging site that most Nollywood producers and performers have turned into brand influencers, which is why there are no new Nigerian films on Netflix.

Many of these Nollywood celebs have joined brand influencing, according to Ka3na, since past BBNaija housemates opened their eyes to the fact that it is a lucrative profession.

She went on to say that brand influencing is not a competition, and she challenged Nollywood producers and actors to develop good Christmas movies.

She wrote: Most Nollywood movie producers/actors have become brand influencers. No latest Nigerian movies on Netflix. Bbn housemates don open their eyes to influencing money. It’s not a competition. Y’all make us good holiday movies, please.

Kitan Bukola, who was offended by Ka3na’s statement, chastised her for disrespecting individuals who had worked hard for years to achieve popularity, unlike herself, who was fortunate because of the BBNaiija platform.

Kitan Bukola advised Ka3na not to degrade Nollywood stars because of her quick rise to popularity or to use her good fortune to shame others.

She wrote: Thank God for BBN , if not you won’t open your mouth waaaa to insult people who has been struggling for years to get fame , just because you are@fortunate to get there within few months due to big brother you wanna discredit them … TIME WILL TELL , never use your grace to disgrace anyone ….
