The announcement stated: “They were traveling in a white 4runner SUV car with registration number: KSF456HD (car picture shown above). We are asking the public to assist us in finding the car or the people inside of it. Anyone with credible information leading to their whereabouts will be rewarded handsomely.”

Over the phone on Wednesday, one of their associates, who went by the name Saheed, informed PUNCH Metro that this was not their first trip to the area.

It’s not their first visit there, he claimed. This is not a Chinese community in Nigeria. They merely stay to complete their company survey, have a meeting with their partners and clients, and then depart.

“The expatriates arrived on November 19 and two weeks later, they started the trip,” stated a second colleague, who went by just Ben. That was the last time we heard from them, and we had communication with them that day. None of the phone numbers we tried to reach the folks in the car went through. We promptly reported to the Aba and Onitsha police stations in this manner. We have not received a call from anyone as of yet. They spent more than two weeks in Onitsha.

Ikenga Tochukwu, the public relations officer for the Anambra State Police, was not reachable since his phone did not ring.

At the time this report was submitted, he had not responded to a text message that was sent to him.
