Nigerian actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has stated that it is wrong to say Lagos is a no man’s land.
In a post on his Instagram page, Fabiyi expressed his concern stating that he would set aside his neutrality and grievances with the government to rise up and act lawfully during the election so that those who wish to take over & TURN LAGOS TO NO MAN’S LAND won’t have their way.
He wrote, ” My mother is a LAGOSIAN, I was born and brought up in LAGOS STATE. When politics gets to a stage like this, I have no other CHOICE than to set aside my neutrality or grievances with the government and rise up, act lawfully especially during the Governorship election, so that those who wish to take over & TURN LAGOS TO NO MAN’S LAND won’t have their way.
A lot of people including visitors, investors and tourists patronize Lagos because of her strategic location, political consistency and hospitality, culture and traditions.
Lagos is sensitive to Nigeria, Africa and world economy than mere emotiinal bitterness of anyone. Lagos need experience and sustainability of traditional respect.
