Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has affirmed his contentment with the club despite ongoing rumors connecting him to a move abroad.

Given a rare start against Luton Town on Wednesday night after missing much of the 2023/24 season due to injuries, the 30-year-old’s contract runs until 2025 and various destinations including Spain, Italy, and Saudi Arabia have been speculated upon.

Addressing the media after his first start for Arsenal since August, Partey stated, “My focus is solely on Arsenal. I’m delighted every time I step onto the pitch here.”

While acknowledging the persistent speculation, he emphasized his commitment to the club, saying, “I’m genuinely happy to continue representing this team. As for my contract, I believe it extends until the end of the season. My priority is to perform to the best of my abilities and remain available whenever needed.”

Amid Arsenal’s recent efforts to secure contract extensions for key players such as Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu, Partey’s future at the club remains a subject of interest.

Having made just nine appearances this season, he aims to feature in the upcoming Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion and potentially in the Champions League quarter-finals against Bayern Munich, where he is in contention.
