Ahead of the March 18, 2023 election, Remi Surutu, who has been vocal about her allegiance to the All Progressive Congress (APC), expressed doubts about Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour’s ability to win the gubernatorial race, claiming that he would only carry the name of the office without securing a victory.
