Igboho, according to Koiki, believes Nigeria would soon cease to exist as a Yoruba nation.

“I received a message from Chief Sunday Adeyemo, alias Igboho, via his lawyer from Benin Republic, Olusegun Falola, saying he stands on his belief, self-determination for the Yoruba Nation, since there can never be another Nigeria for him,” Koiki said in a statement.

“As a Yoruba man and a native of the land, he believes it is time for Yorubas to stand on their own as a nation.

He suggested that we look at the Benin Republic, which has a reliable electrical supply. That is what we have been working for in the Yoruba Nation, and we shall get there very soon. He further stated, “The Yoruba Nation is now, and there is no turning back.”

Igboho is currently imprisoned in the Republic of Benin.

While attempting to travel to Germany, he was just arrested in Cotonou.

The Yoruba nation agitator fled Nigeria after the Department of State Services (DSS) proclaimed him wanted following the purported finding of firearms in his Ibadan home.
