Chelsea will probably spend a lot of money on a midfielder in the January transfer window, and Enzo Fernandez will almost certainly no longer be the target of that spending.

There is a good chance that Chelsea will sign Moises Caicedo in January. The player has long been high on Chelsea’s list of potential midfielder targets.

Although Brighton is hesitant to lose the player in the middle of the campaign, they would consider selling for the right amount.

If Chelsea make a compelling offer, Moises Caicedo might very well move to Chelsea in January, according to Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports.

Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo are both targets for Chelsea, although it seems more likely that Caicedo will depart Brighton in January.

The Ecuadorian midfielder recently switched agencies in preparation for a move, and it’s likely that Caicedo has caught the Blues’ interest now that they were unable to sign Enzo Fernandez.

Although Caicedo has not yet received any approaches, according to Brighton CEO Paul Barber, it is likely that they would consider a bid if it were to match their valuation.

It will be something to watch as Chelsea keeps looking for a midfielder. There aren’t many better products than Moises Caicedo available.
