Theo Walcott predicts that his old team, Arsenal, will win the Premier League championship.

The “whole environment” at the club this season has impressed Walcott.

Walcott responded with a simple “yes” or “no” when asked if he thought Arsenal would win the league.

Then, more pressure was put on Walcott to determine whether his association with the club was causing him to let his emotions rule his judgment.

The 33-year-old was unwavering in his belief that Arsenal can complete the task, saying, “I do.” I really do, in fact.

Take a look at Eddie Nketiah right now; he has his chance and he is seizing it.

“There’s something special about Arsenal right now, simply the vibe in general.” I’m extremely confident about it.

Mikel Arteta’s team, in Walcott’s opinion, can maintain composure and end Arsenal’s 19-year title drought.

With City taking on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday and Arsenal traveling to Tottenham for the north London derby on Sunday, this weekend looks to be a crucial one in the fight for the championship.

Walcott is “very confident” that Arteta’s team will triumph this time, and the Southampton forward has even teased Spurs for their “negative style” of play under Antonio Conte. Arsenal haven’t won at Tottenham in the league since 2014, but they have a game in hand and are 11 points ahead of their fierce rivals.

To be completely honest, I feel like Tottenham play in a really negative manner, remarked Walcott.

Prior to the North London Derby, Walcott criticized Tottenham for their “negative style.”

But to some extent, Arsenal will control the most of the ball, which could play into Tottenham’s hands somewhat because they prefer it.

But this is the Derby, one of those games when anyone can win, they really can.

You shouldn’t need to motivate the players for this match; they should be aware. But I know it’s going to be fantastic, and I can’t wait.
