Afrobeat musician Davido has boasted that a former Nigerian president was grooving to one of his songs.
As previously reported by Gossipinfo, the singer talked about the difficulties he had with his father over his musical career and how he exploited his position of authority to obstruct his advancement.
He claimed that event promoters were afraid to book him because his father began using his connections to get him canceled from shows.
But now his father is his biggest fan because the president vibes to his music. Davido stated that when one of his songs went number one on the charts, the president vibed to it and even used it as his ringtone.
“So at that time, I had a song that was like, it was like top 20 on the charts in Africa.
But then the next song I made went number one. Like the president of my country was rocking with it. The song was his ringtone”.
