Reflecting on his managerial accolade, Iraola humbly shared, “This award belongs to the entire club. While I may be in charge, our successful March run was a collective effort. The real heroes are the players, as they provide us with the opportunity to achieve success and secure results.”

This marks the first time this season that both monthly awards have been bestowed upon representatives of teams in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Muniz joins the esteemed list of previous Player of the Month winners, including James Maddison, Son Heung-min, Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke, Diogo Jota, and Rasmus Hojlund.

Meanwhile, Iraola becomes the sixth distinct recipient of the Manager of the Month accolade this season. Prior winners include Ange Postecoglou for the first three months, followed by Erik ten Hag, Unai Emery, Jurgen Klopp, and Mikel Arteta, preceding Iraola’s noteworthy achievement.
