Enugu Rangers Football Club is facing charges for violating the Nigeria Premier Football League Framework & Rules. Allegedly, during the match against Abia Warriors on Sunday, November 25, some Rangers officials engaged in violent conduct in response to provocation from the home team, Abia Warriors, thereby bringing the game into disrepute, an act considered misconduct under NPFL rules.

In addition to a fine of N1 million, Rangers are instructed to identify and present the officials involved in the misconduct for further penalties. The club has been cautioned that a recurrence of such misconduct will lead to more severe sanctions.

Rangers has a 48-hour window from the notice date to either appeal the sanctions or accept them, according to NPFL regulations.
