In less than a week, Nigerian Army troops have killed 113 terrorists, detained 300 people, and successfully freed 91 hostages, according to the Defense Headquarters (DHQ).
Director of Defence Media Operations Major General Edward Buba revealed this information during a press briefing. He added that the forces had destroyed 49 illicit refining operations, arrested 25 people suspected of being involved in oil theft, and seized stolen goods worth N571 million.

Two dane guns, four locally made pistols, three AK-47 rifle skeletons, nine hand grenades, one non-operational AK-47 rifle, fourteen magazines, 321 rounds of unique 7.62mm ammunition, and forty live cartridges are among the other items.
Thirty-one rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammo, thirty-three rounds of 5.45mm x 39mm ammo, one drilling machine, seven breech blocks, seven rifle butts, eight rifle muzzles, nine piston assemblies, two hundred and twenty springs, materials to make IEDs, four boat radios, fifteen motorcycles, twenty cell phones, and N348,200 were also found.
