According to a chart released by Top Charts, which outlines the earnings of Nollywood producers in recent years, Funke Akindele stands out with a remarkable income. She has grossed over one billion naira (N1.33bn) from her movie projects. In comparison, Toyin Abraham has earned 564 million naira from her movies.
The margin between these two talented actresses is quite substantial, and it comes as no surprise given Funke Akindele’s reputation as the highest-grossing Nollywood actress in Nigeria. One of her movies, “Battle on Buka Street,” alone has raked in over 640 million naira, further solidifying her position in the industry.
