In an Instagram message, the great forward thanked his loved ones and supporters for all of his accomplishments. Four photos of himself with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo and their three children were presented in a carousel by the author.

Messi penned:

“Completes a year I won’t soon forget. I at last realized the dream I had long pursued. But if I didn’t have the best family a person can have, as well as friends who always stood by me and didn’t let me stay on the ground when I fell, neither of those things would be worth anything.

He added;

It’s fantastic to be able to walk this route with all of you, and I want to have a really memorable memory for everyone who supports me and banks with me.

The former resident of Barcelona ended by wishing everyone a happy new year.

Without the support I received from everyone in my country, as well as from Paris, Barcelona, and so many other towns and nations where I have been receiving love, I would not have been able to get where I am today. I hope that everyone has a fantastic year as well, and I send you all the health and energy you need to be content in 2023. A big hug to everyone!
