Pot 3: Scotland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands

Pot 4: Serbia, along with three play-off winners

The teams in Pot 1, including hosts Germany, feature strong contenders like Portugal, France, Spain, Belgium, and England. Pot 2 includes Hungary, Denmark, Albania, and Austria. Pot 3 consists of challenging teams such as Scotland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. Pot 4 comprises Serbia and the three winners from the play-offs.

The draw will take place in December in Hamburg. Additionally, certain teams are yet to be determined based on ongoing qualification scenarios:

– Italy will be in Pot 4 if Croatia defeats Armenia or secures a point and Wales fails to beat Turkey. However, Italy will be in Pot 3 if Wales surpasses Croatia.

– Turkey will be in Pot 2 if they top their group and Pot 3 if they finish behind Croatia.

– Romania and Switzerland will have the group winner placed in Pot 2, while the runner-up will be in Pot 4.

Teams still vying for automatic qualification include:

– Croatia, who could be in Pot 2 if they win the group, Pot 3 if they finish second, or enter the play-offs if they finish third.

– Wales, who may end up in Pot 4 if they finish second in the group or enter the play-offs if they finish third.
