Two people who are thought to be husband and wife were shot by some as-yet-unidentified gunmen, who then left their bodies in the boot of their Toyota Camry, which has the license plate EE-621-EU.
Early on Wednesday morning, onlookers along the Tempo Junction, Umunya axis of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway noticed the two freshly dripping corpses.
A video that is currently trending on social media shows onlookers encircling and scrutinizing the dark-colored Toyota Corolla. The two new bodies were thrown into the boot of the car with the doors wide open.

The blood seen leaking from under the car boot suggested the victim may have been killed recently.
When contacted about the development, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer
Ikenga continued, saying that the two dead bodies had been found and placed in a mortuary by the Oyi Division police officers, and that inquiries were underway to determine the cause of their deaths.
Two dead bodies were found in a car boot along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway at around 7:30 am today, 24 January 2024, by police officers attached to the Oyi Division under the direction of the DPO.
At the scene, the agents also found the abandoned car and a few enlarged cartridges. Investigations have started while the bodies have been placed in the morgue.
