He acknowledged her as not just a mother but also a friend and confidant, always standing strong through the ups and downs. Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi offered prayers for his beloved queen mother, wishing her abundant blessings from Allah and many more years of happiness and good health.
He wrote, on Instagram, “I celebrate you today, and I thank God for keeping you safe and in sound health these past 71 years.

In 2022, the Elegushi monarch marked his mother’s 70th birthday with a warm letter celebrating the undeniable grace in her life.
He acknowledged his mother’s success story as a wife, mother and community leader, stating he has seen her commitment to motherhood all his life.
