Afrobeats artist and new father, Davido, has finally spoken out following the birth of his twins. While the singer and his wife, Chioma, hadn’t officially confirmed the news, Davido indirectly suggested it through his song “In The Garden,” where he hinted at Chioma becoming ‘Mama Ibeji’ (mother of twins). He also tweeted about this week being the best week of his life.
Adding to the speculation, Davido’s brother, Adewale Adeleke, expressed gratitude to God on Twitter.
The news has now been confirmed as a video of Davido and Chioma leaving the hospital with their twins has emerged online. On his Instagram page, Davido, who tragically lost his son, Ifeanyi, last year, shared a post about showing the storms of life how great one’s God is.

Many celebrities have congratulated the couple on their new bundle of joy. The likes of Iyabo Ojo, Junior Pope, Daddy Freeze, Victoria Inyama, and Susan Peters have rejoiced with the couple.
Iyabo Ojo had said a word of prayer for the new parents.
Susan Peters noted how God gave them double for their pain. Calling them ‘Papa and Mama Ejima’, she rejoiced with the couple.
Junior Pope noted how God is indeed the greatest as he gave all glory to Him.
Victoria Inyama, who was overjoyed with the news, revealed that she woke up to the news of their twins, which for her, is a reminder that God is over all.
She noted how the couple have been through hell and back especially from the trauma of losing a child, and then to hateful slanders.
The veteran claimed she worried over their mental, emotional, and psychological health but she was assured that greatness begets gigantic tribulations.
