Miss Cell 2022 has been named after Chidinma Ojukwu, the alleged killer of Super TV CEO Michael Ataga.

Remember that in 2022, Chidinma was arrested for the murder of Usifo Micheal Ataga, the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, in June 2021.

Chidinma, who has been detained in prison awaiting trial for the murder, competed in the Miss Cell beauty pageant hosted at Kirikiri Correctional Facility to commemorate International Women’s Day in 2022.

Despite their imprisonment, the female convicts were given the opportunity to pursue their aspirations.

They had the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills at the competition. Chidinma came out victorious as she beat other inmates to emerge as the winner.

News recalls that Chidinma Ojukwu in a new twist had claimed that the late CEO was having a marital crisis and only stayed in his marriage because of his kids.

 

The 21-year-old in a new interview with Crime Fighters revealed that Ataga that the Super TV CEO was having issues with his wife and was not in a happy marriage, as it was more of catering for his kids.

She also described the deceased as someone who gets angry easily and was always busy. Ojukwu, however, denied having N10m in her account, adding that she had about N400-500k in her account.

According to her, she made the money from selling a laptop that the deceased gave her. “He was actually a busy person but at a point, I found out that he lies a lot just to be able to have sex with young girls.

“He wasn’t having a good marriage either because I noticed he had issues with his wife. They had a marital crisis and he was there only for the kids,” she said
