The footballer, who is a devout Muslim, received negative comments for sharing a picture of his Cross River wife, Juliet Ejue, and extending Christmas wishes to Christians. Musa married Juliet, a Christian from Ogoja local government in Cross River, Nigeria, as his second wife in 2017 after reportedly parting ways with his first wife, Jamila. The couple’s union has flourished, resulting in the blessing of children.

On December 25th, as the global Christian population celebrated Christmas, Musa joined in the festive spirit by posting a picture of his wife dressed in Christmas-themed pajamas. He captioned the image, “Compliments of the season🎄🎄🎄 This festive season, I pray that you experience true joy and peace and may things of celebration never cease from your household. Merry Christmas to you all 👏🎉.”

However, Musa’s participation in the celebrations of another religion perplexed some adherents of the Islamic faith. In response to his post, they expressed their displeasure in the comments section, lecturing him about the prohibition in Islam against actively participating in celebrations of other faiths. Some even urged him to convert his wife to Islam.
