Wathoni Anyansi, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has generated outrage on social media after admitting why she is unable to pursue acting as a career.
During an Instagram Q&A session, a fan asked Wathoni if she had considered acting as a career option because she is so attractive.

Wathoni responded by saying she has attempted acting numerous times, but it is terrible because in this area of the world, an actress’s body is what helps her.
She wrote: I have, and I have done so many times… Unfortunately, in our part of the world, your body is what helps you in that industry.
The statement drew a lot of backlash on social media, with some people accusing her of disrespecting Nollywood actresses who have worked hard and achieved success.
Others, however, believe Wathoni is speaking the truth since, unlike in America, some producers will cast female actresses in return for parts in Nigeria.
