Nollywood actor, Jide Awobona, has issued stern warnings to those who have been mistaking his name for that of the governor, pleading with them to stop mentioning him on their social media handles.
According to the actor, this has been going on for a long time and has refused to stop even after the public was made aware of it.
He shared some horrible comments people had tagged him on while mistaking his handle for Governor Jide Sanwoolu’s Instagram handle this morning on his Instagram page.

Nigerians have been particularly nasty, particularly today, which marks the one-year anniversary of the massacre of many Nigerian peaceful demonstrators by security officers at Lekki Tollgate.
Sharing his Insta-stories, many have rained curses on him as he implored people to check their handles before sending insensitive messages.
He wrote:
