Nigerian football legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha has offered words of encouragement to his nephew, Alex Iwobi, who faced cyberbullying after Nigeria’s defeat in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final against Ivory Coast last Sunday. Okocha took to his Instagram account on Tuesday to share his support, advising Iwobi to “keep going.”

In his Instagram post, Okocha emphasized the goodness of God and extended his prayers to Nigeria and those who harbor negativity and hatred towards others. The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder encouraged treating people with kindness and highlighted the importance of unity in life.

“We love you #alexanderiwobi, and we keep going no matter what they say. The Lord is good all the time, and we trust that His will be done in our lives. Amen,” Okocha stated in his message.
