Chippa United is reportedly seeking €2,000,000 for the services of the current Super Eagles number one, attracting interest from clubs such as Kaizer Chiefs and several European teams. Additionally, reports suggest that Saudi Arabian clubs are monitoring Nwabali, who has maintained seven clean sheets in 15 appearances for Chippa United this season.
Having joined Chippa United in October 2022, Nwabali’s rapid rise has positioned him as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper. However, an injury sustained in Nigeria’s round of 16 win over Cameroon casts doubt on his availability for the Super Eagles’ quarterfinal clash against Angola.
