Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, the Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement and its spiritual leader, has passed away.
At the age of 103, Prophet Abidoye passed away in his Ilorin home, the capital of Kwara state, on Sunday morning at around 10:00 am.
Special Apostle Ademola Odetundun, the church’s secretary-general, announced his passing.

Speaking of his final moments, Odetundun said the dead had eaten breakfast and decided to take a nap instead of getting dressed for the service.
“He passed on peacefully, thereafter,” according to an Odetundun statement.
He also revealed that the spiritual father’s funeral arrangements would be revealed at a later time.
The man known by most as Baba Aladura was born on June 26th, 1956, as a prince in Omu Aran, Kwara State’s Irepodun Local Government.
Odetundun Abegunde, Oba Olomu of Omu Aran, which at the time was in the province of Ilorin, was his father.
