The grieving father of the late Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad, Joseph Aloba, has openly expressed his distress at the emotional detachment and lack of communication with his surviving son, Adura Aloba, since Mohbad’s tragic death.
Mohbad’s father recently caused a stir on the internet with a moving and passionate lament about the widening gap between him and his son, Adura, during an emotional live session.
He depicted a somber picture of a family trying to come to terms with the singer’s untimely demise, accusing anonymous people of seeking to intentionally cause strife between him and Adura while in obvious agony.

Mohbad’s tragic death in September 2023 has remained a hotbed of controversy, fueling endless speculation and sparking heated debates across social media platforms. In a recent live video session, Joseph Aloba did not hold back his frustrations, revealed that since Mohbad’s death, Adura has completely distanced himself, refusing to visit or check on him.
What’s more painful, Joseph claimed, is that this estrangement seems orchestrated by certain individuals who are allegedly working to suppress the truth about what really happened to Mohbad.
He alleged that these conspirators have gone as far as hiring vigilante groups to shield Adura and his mother from anyone seeking to reach them, including himself.
