On his birthday, famed Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, often known as Ogogo, undoubtedly received several gifts, but a car gift seemed to be the day’s high point. Solomon Adeola, also known as Yayi, a senator from Nigeria, gave him this gift, a Toyota Venza SUV.

The Yoruba movie star, Taiwo Hassan, recently celebrated his 60th birthday anniversary, which was held on 6 December this year. Many top personalities graced his birthday celebration, which included the likes of Senator Yayi, who bequeathed such a beautiful gift on him, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly identified as MC Oluomo and several other Yoruba movie stars, were all present at the event.

Ogogo is known for starring in many Yoruba movies, one of which was the popular movie “Owo Blow”. We also learnt that Taiwo’s bossom friend and fellow acting colleague, Yinka Quadri, also celebrated his 60th birthday a few months ago
Taiwo Hassan, who clocked 60 years on 31st of October this year, started out as a graduate of Automobile engineer from Yabatech after which he proceeded to work with Lagos State Water Corporation as an auto mechanic. He went into acting fully in 1994.
His car gift, 5-passenger Toyota Venza, comes fitted with 2GRFE 3.5-liter V6 or an alternative 1AR-FE 2.7-liter I4 engine. For the two engines, they both offer six-speed automatic transmission. The standard drive system is the front-wheel-drive but there is an optional all-wheel-drive for interested buyers.
