Legendary singer, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam1 has reveals why Ọba Sikiru Kayọde Adetọna, the Awujale Of Ijebuland choose him to become Olori Omooba of Ijebu Kingdom.

Recalls that Wasiu Ayinde steps into bigger shoes after being honoured with the new title of Olori Omoba of Akile Ijebu by the paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona at the last Ojude Oba festival.

The Olori Omoba is a title of pride and class in Ijebuland and is one of the most noble titles last held by well decorated Nigerian and founder of First City Monument Bank, Otunba Subomi Balogun who passed away recently at the age of 89.

Ayinde’s new role as the Olori Omoba is to uphold the culture and tradition of the Ijebu people and continue to be available to various tasks that has to do with the development of the society.

In a recent Interview, the fuji singer reveals why Ọba Sikiru Adetọna bestowed him such big title.
