She wrote: “Married my husband in 2006. Not thinking anything of it we had three kids. Come to find out we were related and cousins.”

According to Celina, they were both born and raised in different parts of Florida and had no idea that they were related until they took the DNA test. The couple had always known that they came from large families, but they never suspected that they could be related.

Celina explained that she had a difficult time coming to terms with the news at first. However, she soon realized that the love they shared was genuine, and their marriage was built on more than just a familial connection.

Despite the initial backlash from some viewers, many people showed their support for the couple and commended them for their resilience and commitment to each other. Celina and Joseph’s story serves as a reminder that family history can sometimes reveal unexpected truths, but true love can withstand any obstacle.

She wrote: “This was three kids in that I found out we were related. I did my DNA test I think in 2016 and yeah it was devastating because I was like ‘babe we’re related are we even supposed to be together? This is weird’. It really freaked me out.

“I wouldn’t change it for the world… Cousband and wife for life! There is a reason why good couples look alike. I am just over here raising awareness.”

Celina also shared that they have moved past the initial shock of the discovery and have continued to build their lives together. She emphasized that her husband and children are her everything, and they have been able to look past the news and focus on their love and their family.

In one of her posts, Celina wrote, “All our kids have 10 fingers and 10 toes. It’s a good icebreaker lol.” This statement reflects the couple’s ability to find humor in a challenging situation and highlights their resilience and commitment to each other.
