It has been reported that Paul Pogba’s elder brother has been hauled to a court in Paris.
According to BFMTV, Mathias Pogba has been prosecuted over an alleged extortion attempt against his brother, the former Manchester United footballer Pogba. After being released from police detention, Mathias Pogba was scheduled to appear in court in Paris on Friday night.
Four people were detained by the police on Tuesday and Wednesday in connection with an alleged extortion attempt against Juventus player Paul Pogba.

One of the four people who were being questioned by authorities, Mathias, apparently came forward and was taken into jail by police.
Paul Pogba said that a gang of people who targeted him in Turin and wanted £11 million (€13 million) for ‘security services’ over a 13-year period included his brother and “childhood buddies.”
Paul Pogba spent the final years of his childhood career at Old Trafford and made 157 appearances for Manchester United during two separate senior playing careers.
The 2018 World Cup champion left Manchester this summer when his contract there expired and signed a four-year contract with Serie A club Juventus.
According to statements made through his attorney Richard Arbib, Mathias has previously stated that he is “a complete stranger” to any attempt at extortion against his brother.
