Rohr, who managed the Super Eagles from 2016 to 2021, praised Labbadia’s coaching abilities.

“He’s a very good coach. I hope the NFF and Nigerian fans treat him well,” the 71-year-old told Newsmen.

“He has experience in the Bundesliga, and I hope he quickly adapts to Nigeria, which is a different environment.”

Rohr will face Labbadia when Benin Republic takes on the Super Eagles in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match in Uyo on Saturday, September 7.
