Rodrygo Goes soon punished Cadiz for their missed chances, miraculously weaving past four defenders before netting a top-corner finish, giving Madrid the lead.

Undeterred by falling behind, Cadiz had an opportunity to level the score before halftime, with Marti’s long-range effort well saved by Andriy Lunin.

Real Madrid asserted more authority in the second half, with Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham causing issues for Cadiz’s defense. A chance created by the duo nearly resulted in a goal for Los Blancos, but Rodrygo’s decision-making faltered, resulting in a wayward tap-out for a goal kick.

Around the hour mark, Luka Modric came agonizingly close to scoring the crucial second goal, hitting the post from just outside the penalty area. Shortly after, Rodrygo extended Madrid’s lead, curling the ball beautifully into the top right corner after evading two Cadiz defenders.

The scoring continued as Bellingham, marking his comeback with his 11th La Liga goal, received a precise pass from Rodrygo. The English star drilled a shot across goal into the bottom right corner, sealing Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory.
