The Audrey Silva firm (TASC), a production company co-owned by actress Rita Dominic and film director Mildred Okwo, is set to assume control of the Miss Nigeria pageant, replacing Folio Communications, which had overseen the competition for the previous 16 years.
Dominic told the Daily Times, “The Miss Nigeria Pageant is a true representation of One Nigeria.
Throughout its history, the platform has empowered young women from diverse socioeconomic, racial, and religious backgrounds. I’m proud of the achievements my husband, Mr. Fidelis Anosike, founder of Folio Communications and publisher of the Daily Times newspaper, has made with the brand over the past 16 years. I’m delighted to announce that he is entrusting me with the responsibility and working in collaboration with TASC.

Dominic expressed that her 25 years of experience as a film producer in the entertainment industry have equipped her with the requisite skills and knowledge to take the lead at the Miss Nigeria pageant.
She stated, “I have been part of this journey for a few years now, observing and learning alongside my husband and other professionals. I’m enthusiastic about the progress that Miss Nigeria is set to make.”
Fidelis Anosike, Rita Dominic’s husband, extended his congratulations to those responsible for the inception of Miss Nigeria and Chief Atinuke Oyelude, the first Miss Nigeria, who will celebrate her 93rd birthday on November 16.
Speaking about his wife Rita Dominic, Anosike remarked, “I am firmly convinced that she will bring honor to Nigeria and set new standards for the pageant. With a hopeful vision that the Miss Nigeria platform will transform into a foundation for empowering young Nigerian women, we warmly embrace the Audrey Silva firm as a part of the Miss Nigeria 1957 alliance.”
Dominic, together with her business partner Mildred Okwo, is expected to enhance the prestige of this iconic pageant.
