According to a report, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is set to engage in discussions with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric to determine their future with the club in the upcoming weeks.
Both Kroos and Modric are nearing the end of their contracts this summer and could potentially depart from Madrid as free agents by the end of June.
Although the legendary duo have been renewing their contracts on a rolling one-year basis, it is reported by MARCA that they are increasingly inclined to delay making a decision regarding their next steps until closer to the expiration of their current deals.

Madrid has been strategizing for the 2024/25 season since March, assessing the market to ascertain whether new contract offers should be extended to Kroos and Modric, as well as the terms of such proposals. The club remains adaptable to unforeseen changes, especially after Karim Benzema’s unexpected departure to Saudi champions Al Ittihad last year.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen on retaining both players, primarily for the sake of continuity, and their recent performances have demonstrated their enduring capability at the highest level, even in their thirties.
