Inter may consider a move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka if Denzel Dumfries departs the club this summer, as reported. Dumfries, previously a target for several Premier League clubs including Chelsea and Manchester United, is nearing the end of his contract and could leave if contract negotiations stall.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter views Wan-Bissaka as a potential replacement for Dumfries as they aim to strengthen their squad for the 2024/25 season. Wan-Bissaka’s current contract with Manchester United runs until 2025, although he has yet to agree to new terms. United may consider selling him rather than risk losing him for free.
The report suggests that Inter could acquire Wan-Bissaka for €15m (£13m), while valuing Dumfries at £25m. Wan-Bissaka, 26, has had limited Premier League appearances this season due to recurring hamstring injuries, totaling 181 appearances for Manchester United since joining. Should he move to Serie A, Wan-Bissaka could potentially join teammate Anthony Martial, who is also linked with Inter and is expected to become a free agent at the end of the season.
