Approaching the final 12 months of his contract with Bayern, Davies has been locked in a standoff with the German club. Despite Bayern’s offer of fresh terms, the Canada international’s demands have not been met.
With Real Madrid recently rekindling their interest in Davies, BILD claims that Bayern is now prepared to offer the left-back a higher salary to persuade him to extend his contract. However, their latest offer of €13 million annually still falls short of Davies’ reported asking price of €20 million per year.
