In the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, a bus driver named Philip Fiama reportedly accused a co-tenant of having an affair with his wife, leading to Fiama’s death by stabbing.
According to information obtained by City Round, the incident happened at the deceased’s home in Sobande Close, Alagbole, Ajuwon, on January 7 at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Adamawa State native Fiama was reported to have pulled his co-tenant aside and questioned him about why he was reportedly having an affair with his wife.

This allegedly sparked a brawl in which the suspect—identified as Ikem Emmanuel—killed Fiama by stabbing her.
It was reported that the injured bus driver passed away while being transported to a nearby hospital.
Speaking with our correspondent on Friday, Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, verified the event.
“The incident happened on Sunday, January 7,” stated Odutola. Around 8:00 p.m. on that particular day, a landlord from Sobande Close, Alagbole, Ajuwon, arrived to report that a tenant named Philip Fiama had accused another tenant, Ikem Chika Emmanuel, of having an affair with Fiama’s wife.
“Ikem Chika Emmanuel reportedly stabbed Fiama in the chest as a result, starting a fight. It was reported that one Tamara Hospital had declared the deceased to be dead.
The matter has been forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department at the Ogun State Police Command headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta for a covert investigation because the suspect has absconded to an unidentified location. The evading suspect is being pursued by the police as well.
