The multiple award-winning Afrobeat artiste, Rema, has refuted claims of being a member of one of the world’s most influential secret societies, the Illuminati.

The Mavin music star made this clarification in response to accusations of being associated with the Illuminati group.

In an Instagram story post on Wednesday, he emphasized that he has dedicated significant hard work to achieve his success and refuted any connection with the Illuminati group.

According to him, he uses a bat as his signature emoji to serve as a constant reminder of his Benin roots, and he clarified that it has no connection to any diabolical associations.

He strongly emphasized that Jesus is his king and urged that speculations regarding his involvement in any secret society should be put to rest.

He wrote, “Day 1 Ravers help educate the new Ravers that I’ve been on this bat shit for a long time. yall would have so much clarity if you easily google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening etc.
