The game kicked off with a somewhat lackluster opening from Real Madrid, allowing Barcelona to capitalize early on. Andreas Christensen capitalized on a defensive lapse to head home the opening goal for La Blaugrana.

However, Madrid quickly responded, with Vinicius Junior converting a penalty after Lucas Vazquez was brought down in the box by an over-stretched Pau Cubarasi.

Barcelona came close to regaining the lead from a corner, but Robert Lewandowski’s effort sailed over the bar.

Real Madrid’s vulnerability from set-pieces continued, with Lamine Yamal’s flick nearly breaching the goal line before being cleared.

Entering the second half, Barcelona dominated play, with substitute Ferran Torres missing a golden opportunity to score.

Barca eventually found the equalizer through Fermin Lopez in the 68th minute. However, Madrid swiftly responded once again, with Lucas Vazquez netting his second of the match.

In a dramatic climax, Jude Bellingham secured victory for Madrid in stoppage time, slotting home after a Brahim Diaz cross found its way to him amidst a crowded penalty area.
