However, time is running out for Nacho, who must make a decision before his contract expires. According to reports from Marca, he has been offered a one-year deal but must accept or decline it by the end of June.

Should he choose to explore other options, Nacho will conclude his 12-year tenure with the first team, having spent his entire career within Madrid’s system.

During the 2023/24 season, Nacho made 45 appearances, including 12 in Madrid’s successful Champions League campaign. He also played a pivotal role in Madrid’s La Liga triumph, where they finished 10 points ahead of Barcelona.

Clubs rumored to be interested in the defender include Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr and Lionel Messi’s club, Inter Miami. While Nacho had previously shown interest in the MLS, it now appears that the 34-year-old is uncertain about his next move.

Should Nacho opt for the contract extension, he will join fellow club star Luka Modric in enjoying a final campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu.
